CATERING AND FOOD HYGIENE: There is a sign-up sheet in the bird cage for anyone wishing to do the food hygiene course. This course will be essential for you if you use the church kitchen in any capacity and is also available to anyone else wishing to participate.
BACK TO SCHOOL PRAYER EVENT: A cream tea and prayer time for all teachers and staff will be held on Tuesday 31st August from 4pm-6pm at St. Johns, Meads. For full details and booking information please see the poster on the notice board.

SPONSORED WALK FOR TEARFUND: This is planned for Saturday 18th September. Starting at 10.30am from Birling Gap. The walk follows a 10 mile circular route with a lunch stop this is not a race and you do not have to walk further than you want. Walkers please collect sponsorship forms from Barry Mansergh. All walkers are welcome to take part. This is an excellent opportunity for getting to know other members of the congregation.

At 2.30pm Walter and Val Martin will be sharing 'Some Martin Memories in Pictures' - anyone and everyone is welcome to come and join us. FUNERAL: The funeral for Roy Kelly will be held here at All Saints at 2pm on Monday 13th September. Please do continue to remember Marie and family in your prayers.

SILENCE AVOID OR ENJOY: An Eastbourne Deanery morning at St. Michael's Church on Saturday 16th October 10am - 12.30pm with Revd. Roger Crosthwaite considering how we can use silence to grow in our spiritual lives. Full details on the poster in the Narthex.

ALPHA: The new Alpha course will begin here at All Saints on Wednesday 6th October. This is an excellent opportunity for non Christians and new Christians alike to discover more about the Christian faith. Please pray for this venture.
